My name is Jack McCormick, and I am a senior philosophy student at the University of Vermont. Over the course of the last few years, I have gone from never having taken a philosophy class to wanting to spend my life thinking, reading, and writing about philosophical issues.
I am working on three projects for the summer: For my thesis I am writing on hermeneutics and fables, I am working as a research assistant for my professor, Kate Nolfi, and I'm going to be working on a personal study project, where I am going to try to write a paper a week. I have an additional goal for the summer to get some papers in good shape to submit to some undergraduate research journals.
